I have to copy data from an MS Access file into an excel file. The problem is, that Excel accepts only about 260 columns, but I need to paste about 900. Thus my question is, whether and how it is possible.

Hello,

it isn't possible to set more than 256 columns in Excel. An alternative is to use Access or to swivel the sheet at switch columns into rows, but that assumes that you don't have more than 256 rows.

Or you divide the data into more sheets with less than 256 columns.
